Picking a Lizard

Blue Tongues

We love our Blue Tongues and keep three different varieties they are the Common Eastern Blue Tongue, Blotched Blue Tongue and the Northern Blue Tongue.
Blue Tongues are a fantastic first lizard or first reptile for a number of reasons, they are easy to look after, cheap to feed, Calm when handled making them so great for young children and another thing in Victoria they do not require a licence.

Eastern Blue Tongues   (Tilqua Scincoides)
The first Lizard we ever got was an Eastern Blue Tongue and since then these creatures have captivated us, and our collection has continued to expand. We have been breeding Eastern Blue Tongues for about 6 years now and have babies born every year in about February. Which is always exciting. Check Out our FOR SALE page to see if we currently have any available for purchase.

Blotched Blue Tongues  (Tiliqua Nigrolutea)
Blotched Blue Tongues aren’t as common as the Eastern Blue Tongues and are not as readily available to purchase.
We also breed Blotched Blue Tongues but they don’t give birth to as many young as the Eastern and therefore we never have babies available for purchase for very long as they always go fast.
